What This Is

Not self-improvement.
A homecoming.

This is for people who sense that something is missing — not in their achievements or their circumstances, but in their relationship with life itself. A feeling of being slightly out of register with the world, with other people, with yourself.

The work here sits at the crossing of three paths: deep nature connection, the inner life, and the mythic layer underneath both. It's not coaching in the usual sense. It's closer to tracking — learning to read what's actually moving in you, beneath the noise.

If that lands somewhere in your body, you're in the right place.

The Guide

A tracker of inner landscapes

I work at the intersection of deep nature connection, ancient wisdom traditions, and the art of genuine presence. I've spent years sitting with the land — following deer trails, learning the language of birds, watching bats in the last of the evening — and that quality of attention is what I bring to the inner work too.

For fifteen years I have walked within the Spirit of the Inca medicine wheel lineage — a tradition rooted in Andean wisdom, passed through teachers who worked directly with Alberto Villoldo and the Peruvian Q'ero. But what I carry isn't primarily a framework. It's a quality of attention: the ability to track what is actually moving, beneath the surface of a life.

My name, inner_tracker, holds both worlds. The tracker tradition of reading the natural world with deep attention. And the inner journey — following what is alive, what is stirring, what is asking to be seen.

People come to me because they sense something before they can name it — a quality of stillness, of being genuinely met. Over twenty years I have worked with people across all stages of life — children, parents, individuals and groups. That breadth of human encounter, alongside my own unfinished becoming, is woven into everything I bring.

The Way I Work

Walking alongside what is emerging

I work with people from many different walks of life — deeply analytical thinkers, highly intuitive feelers, and those somewhere in between. A lot of my work is about creating space for forms of intelligence that modern life tends to crowd out: the body, intuition, emotion, imagination, relationship and the more-than-human world.

I'm less interested in fixing people or giving advice, and more interested in walking alongside what is already trying to emerge. I follow curiosity. I ask questions. I pay close attention to the worn notebook entries, the recurring dream, the moment in the woods when something shifted — the subtle threads that sit underneath the surface of a life.

Together we might:

I see this work less as self-improvement and more as a remembering — a return to something alive, relational and deeply human.

My practice is not separate from my own path. I'm continually learning through nature, community, story, challenge and relationship too. What matters most to me is that our conversations feel real, grounded and alive — and that something meaningful begins to move.

In their own words

"What started as an outer nature exploration turned out to be an inner one. My whole approach to life shifted — from a separate individual to acting as part of a bigger web, in harmony with everything. Nature has become my primary partner, ally and friend. Everything speaks to me now, and nothing feels separate anymore.

Working with Alex is engaging, playful, profound and educational. Alex is a wise gardener who taught me how to cultivate and tend my inner garden."
Mihaela Visan — Multidisciplinary Coach, Romania
"I love how Alex connects us to our tribal roots of the Earth. His calm, confident and peaceful presence says 'I am here for you and I am giving you my full attention.' When Alex speaks the room goes silent, and all hearts open.

As a mentor Alex never tells you what you should do — he asks questions, allows you space, and guides you inside yourself where you can listen to your own heart. It is in this place that true healing occurs."
Tami Rogers — Healer & Master Maine Guide, USA
"Nature connection taught me deep and powerful lessons every day before breakfast. Alex reminded me of my connection to the Earth — how to move gently in the world, follow my heart, and cherish the beauty of nature.

The modern world teaches that education is something outside of ourselves. Your teachings are an invitation to remember the deep wisdom obscured by modern life. You're teaching the unteachable. You're teaching intuition."
Siena Barnes — Artist, UK
"Alex's direction and guidance arises from a place of stillness and gentleness that encourages you to be there with him too. By the end of our time together I came to see that although he teaches us to be in nature, actually nature is within us, is us.

If you are struggling with something he sits with it for a moment and then gives it back to you from a different perspective — and oftentimes the struggle simply melts away."
Caroline Tobin — Quality Manager, UK
"Working with Alex has truly opened my heart to myself and the world around me. He provides the safest of spaces — always enabling and guiding me to find the answers for myself, within myself.

Through his teachings I've learnt to sit in stillness, to feel and connect with the call of the wild within. To wonder at the tiniest insect, the largest tree, and to know that we are nature in all its wild glory — and we are all connected."
Liz Sagi — Social Services Manager, UK
The Work

What becomes possible

This is not about learning new frameworks or collecting spiritual experiences. It is about coming home to what you already are — and finding that the world is in continuous dialogue with you.

01

Direct experience of connection

Most people live in their heads, even in personal growth spaces. We move out of abstraction and into felt experience — sensing rather than analysing, relating rather than observing, being with life rather than trying to figure it out.

02

Re-sensitisation to life

People often arrive a little numb, armoured, or over-patterned. Through this work, they begin to feel more in their bodies, notice the subtle language of the natural world, and experience awe, wonder and meaning again.

03

Permission to trust your own experience

We gently dismantle the habit of outsourcing authority — to teachers, frameworks, or how things are supposed to be done. You learn to trust what you feel, recognise your own signals, and follow what is alive for you.

04

Regulation through relationship

Rather than fixing people with tools, I offer presence, attunement, and a quality of grounded, non-rushed relating. In that space, the nervous system settles, softens, and reorganises naturally.

05

Life as dialogue

Through this lens, the world becomes alive with symbolism, synchronicity, and relational feedback — not conceptually, but through lived moments. Encounters with animals, patterns in nature, meaningful timing. Life speaks.

The Shifts

What moves

People come for many different reasons. What moves is often unexpected.

A quieter, more trustworthy relationship with your own decisions
Less driven by anxiety, more guided by genuine discernment
Relationships that feel more real, more honest, more nourishing
A sense of belonging — to yourself, to others, to the living world
Old patterns that kept you stuck begin to loosen and lose their grip
A deeper capacity to sit with difficulty without shutting down
Meaning that doesn't depend on circumstances
A feeling of coming home to something you didn't know you'd lost

The work looks different for everyone. The direction is always the same — toward something more alive.

The Practice

How we work together

Sessions are open and present-centred. I work with what is alive in the moment rather than from a fixed curriculum. At the heart of the individual work is the sit spot practice — you develop a genuine relationship with a patch of land near you, sitting regularly, letting the natural world do its own teaching. You bring your stories to our sessions. I hold the space for meaning-making and integration.

The land is the primary mentor. My role is to listen deeply, ask questions that open rather than close, and trust the process.

Sessions are held online. The practice unfolds between sessions — in the field, at the sit spot, in the quiet of your own noticing.

The Approach

A living synthesis

Over fifteen years of practice — in ceremony, on the land, in deep mentoring relationship — something has woven itself together. Not a system to follow but a way of moving through the world.

The natural world as teacher Embodied Knowing

The land is not a backdrop to the inner work — it is the work. Through practices like the sit spot, learning to read the language of birds, and tracking the subtle rhythms of a living ecosystem, the body remembers how to be in relationship. What opens outside opens inside.

Ceremony & the mythic dimension Soul Work

Beneath every choice, there are deeper currents at work — patterns inherited from family, culture and history that shape how we live, relate and move through the world. This work brings those currents to the surface, not through analysis, but through story, symbol and the kind of honest reflection that creates genuine shift.

Presence as the practice Relational Depth

Genuine mentoring is not technique — it is quality of being. Vulnerability, impartiality, empathy and wonder are not tools to apply but orientations to inhabit. The nervous system of another person responds to presence before it responds to anything that is said.

The village and the long view Cultural Emergence

This work sits within a larger vision — the slow weaving of indigenous wisdom back into modern life. Healthy humans need healthy community, healthy land, and a sense of belonging to something larger than themselves. Each person who finds their way home is part of that reweaving.

Coming back into right relationship — with yourself, with nature, and with life — through presence, not performance.
